1. 'Root canals' do not have to hurt.   Dr. Koehn's anesthetic techniques and patience helps him ensure that each patient should be very comfortable throughout the procedure. He also has invested in The Wand anesthetic delivery system, which allows patients to experience very little discomfort if any during anesthetic placement.
2. Financing options are available to help prevent delay in treatment. While microscopic endodontic therapy and dental implants may not be cheap, we have found a way to make these options affordable for many. Please see our financing options through Care Credit.  

Our Mission is to treat our patients in the same way that we would want to be treated ourselves. This means preventing pain during the procedure; and also practicing at an extremely high level of care to ensure that your microscopic endodontic treatment  or implant treatment results in you being able to keep your tooth or dental implant for as long as possible.

We take pride in delivering endodontic treatment and implants that utilizes some of the latest techniques and technology available to our specialty. Dr. Koehn performs each procedure through a microscope; and uses digital radiography for high resolution images with much less radiation than traditional films.

Dr. Koehn places dental implants as a tooth replacement option if necessary. If your tooth is not save-able, often the best way to replace it is with a dental implant.

You can refer your patients online! It's easier than filling out a referral slip, and you can attach a digital xray or image as well. Just call us if you don't know your user name and password (or recover your password online) and we can walk you through it. Dr. David P Koehn, a native of Michigan, completed his dental training and endodontic specialty training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Linda, his wife, was born and raised in Hawaii. Dr. Koehn and his wife met on a white water rafting trip on the American River, and the rest is history!

Before relocating to El Dorado Hills, Dr. Koehn practiced in Saratoga, California. The beauty of El Dorado Hills with its views, warm people, and its proximity to water and the Sierras are some of the things that brought the Koehn family to this area.
